I wrote a few posts of potential interest this month:
- My Mid-Year Media Report: favorite books, movies, shows, games of 2016 so far.
- Some gleeful bouncing about the new Ghostbusters.
- 2016 Hugo fiction reading report.
- And last but definitely not least, my thoughts on a woman candidate accepting the Democratic nomination for president.

Ana and I released three episodes of Fangirl Happy Hour!
- Episode #48 — We talk about The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (adorable), A League of Their Own (I cried through most of it), and "Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers" (I remain terrible at short fiction).
- Episode #49 — Ninefox Gambit (GREAT), Ghostbusters (the terrible 1984 version), and Young Avengers Presents (too disconnected).
- Episode #50 — The Star-Touched Queen (highly recommended), Ghostbusters II (I put this movie somewhere below Event Horizon, bad but good in a formative way), and the first volume of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur (cute and thinky).

- Never Travel With: — But why can't Raven go on the roadtrip? (X-Men: First Class, 902 words)
- Let's Start Living Dangerously — Nate can look after himself. He's better at look after himself than Sully is, anyway. (Uncharted, 815 words)
