[VID] [Multifandom] Friction by
So you know how last time I was like "I love amvs that splice things together to create visual continuity and lines of effect despite being from different shows, while using the sound effects to match the music"? (... I may have phrased it as "s;dbfhapgiybasnakfhbsduabgf!!!" but that's what I meant.) I found the comment where the creator lists all of the fandoms for this vid and it turns out it changes fandoms basically every second. And it doesn't feel frenetic! Fast-paced, definitely, but in a controlled manner that I respect the hell out of. Plus the creator manages to layer different shows over each other, which again: works really well, feels perfectly coordinated. If anyone has recommendations for more vids that do this sort of thing, please let me know!
[ART] [Pokémon] Alola, Darumaka by Jey Pawlik — I didn't know that I needed a webcomic about a trans guy from Unova moving to Alola with his Darumaka for school, but now I do! It's basically Yotsuba&!-style shenanigans with Pokémon, and it's so cute. I'm charmed, I'm endeared, I love this goofy little darumaka toddler and her wholesome chaos.
