[META] [The Untamed] The Untamed locations: The Jingshi 静室 by pastelcheckereddreams (Architecture)

This is a really well done drawing of the Jingshi and environs with some excellent meta about how the space is used and what it tells us about the characters.

[VID] [The Musketeers (BBC)] River by diana (3:24) (Aramis x Athos x d'Artagnan x Porthos)

It's proving quite important that I watch this vid at least once a day at the moment. Somehow fell back into an old fandom, and this is one of the best new to me vids I've found so far. Part ship, part bros - all perfection.

[VID] [The Musketeers (BBC)] Undisclosed Desires by JAK (2:45) (Athos/d'Artagnan)

'I don't even really ship this' I said as I began to go down the Athos/d'Artagnan rabbit hole. And then someone set them to a Muse song.

[VID] [The Musketeers (BBC)] Devil Side by Angela (3:59) (Athos/d'Artagnan)

And then this one, wow. The angst, the lingering looks, and pretty much the perfect Athos song choice.

[VID] [Multifandom] Teeth [AMV - Mix] by [youtube.com profile] sota (2:13) [Caution warning: violence, blood]

Once again, I'm back with an excellently paced fanvid! The mix of fandoms is wild to me because it's like half a dozen super violent series and then frickin K-On, but it works! The transitions between fandoms and clips are fantastic. They're not just synced to the music, they're arranged so that the choreography flows together with the arc of impact or effect! It's so cool! Like, the most seamless one is at about 1:15 (and is pure *chef's kiss*) but the staccato ones for the percussive bits work really well too – and yes, the ways that the beats of character fights and actions sync up to the music delights me. I enjoyed this so much!
