1. [personal profile] brownbetty shares helpful tips for using DreamWidth on mobile platforms.

2. New footage of Kingdom Hearts 4 has been released, featuring a more photorealistic Sora in a setting that looks an awful lot like modern-day Tokyo. Here's an article about an interview with series creator Tetsuya Nomura that talks more about this new world and what inspired it.

3. "Jim Crow, Science Fiction, and WorldCon" discusses segregation and racism in fandom during the Jim Crow era. A number of WorldCons and other fandom events were held in whites-only venues, with predictable results, and some of the responses to the complaints seem awfully familiar ("So we shouldn't allow southern cities to bid for WorldCon?"). Some great quotes from fanzines as well as important points about how white fans need to be more cognizant of history and how it still reverberates today.

4. Chicon 8 has posted its COVID policy, and it's a solid and thoughtful plan. Let's hope the implementation and enforcement are as strong as the plan appears on paper.

5. GrimGrimoire is a weird little strategy game from the PS2 era that I absolutely adore, and IT'S GETTING RERELEASED FOR MODERN CONSOLES! GrimGrimoire OnceMore doesn't have an English release date just yet, but I am so ready for the moment it gets one.

6. [twitter.com profile] unnaye has done a quick primer on how to "crosspost" between Dreamwidth and twitter – which may produce familiar results if you've ever checked out [twitter.com profile] feministponies. They've also found some pretty good primers on How To Dreamwidth if you need them.

Thanks for the helpful DW how to links.

Also, me screaming about GrimGrimoire. I honestly assumed there would never be a remake for this. Glad I am wrong.
