1. I don't know that we need so many Disney+ Marvel shows and I don't know that I needed one of them to be about Hawkeye, but the new trailer is our first look at Kate Bishop, and it's hard to argue with that. The Mary Sue has more.
2. I really enjoyed this article about writing and performing choral music for movie soundtracks.
3. SFWA has officially thrown its support behind Scarlet Johansson's lawsuit against Disney, as part of its "Disney Must Pay" initiative.
4. The Guardian has a great interview with actor and action star Michelle Yeoh.

5. The Handmaid's Tale is in the Discourse because of the abortion ban in Texas. I found this article on why white feminists reaching for this comparison are part of the problem and why we're here in this moment. There are a lot of marches cropping up, too. I'm following one in my city, and no big surprise: they're already taking merch.
6. Okay, who else watched The Wheel of Time trailer and got excited? Love to see them front-loading the Aes Sedai (always my favorite characters). Hope that stays true for the actual show.
7. Did you know you can go pre-order Servant Mage by Kate Elliott right now? You can also add it to your to-read list on your book app of choice, like on Storygraph. :) :) :)
8. I have been resisting buying new washi tape, but this one may break me.
9. My favorite part of the Butter remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion is a) everything, b) her laugh during Namjoon's verse. Her additions and vocalizations really take the song to the next level. She's so good.
