2. The BBC told staff they could be suspended if they attend Pride or BLM events, and the reasoning is both transphobic and racist.

3. Bernadine Evaristo has curated a new series of books with Penguin called Black Britain Writing Back.

5. The Witness For The Dead is a new novel that's going to be set in the world of The Goblin Emperor.

6. It is always worth watching a video of Barack Obama being iconic.

7. Andrew Lloyd Webber performs a medley from the stage where Phantom of the Opera started.

8. I only recently learned about Liverpool's long-standing boycott of The Sun, a tabloid newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch. This article from 2018 describes the backstory and provides a fascinating look at the effects. Deplatforming works!

9. From The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon says you don't own the content you buy via Prime Video. Given Amazon's track record with this sort of thing, I'm not at all surprised.

10. This is an unexpectedly interesting history of some candy brand names (image only unfortunately).
