WisCon 2018 Schedule!

Three of our editors are attending WisCon this year, and we're all on panels! We're also all planning to attend the Dessert Salon and Guest of Honor Speeches on Sunday evening, and hope to pull together an informal gathering at some point, probably Saturday or Sunday night, either in the lobby or at Michelangelo's. Keep an eye on feministponies and our individual Twitter accounts for updates.

Saturday, 8:30am in Wisconsin, The Good Place: Holy Forking Shirtballs
I wrote a definitely very brief and not long at all post about Jason so I am pretty hype to be on a panel for this show!

Saturday, 10:00am in Caucus, Sex and the Sim City: Romance and Sex in Video Games
I confess I am mostly coming from a Bioware perspective here, but I've always been interested in how romance and sex are portrayed in interactive media, so I'm excited to chat with the other panelists and the audience!

Sunday, 10:00am in Capitol A, Beyond S/He
It is maybe possible I have a slight vested interest as a nonbinary person trying to create media with nonbinary characters. Maybe.

Sunda, 2:30pm in University B, Exploring the Platonic
Over on the platonic side of things, I am also deeply interested in friendship and found family relationships, and this panel has a lot of cool media and relationships lined up to discuss!

I am on two panels this year. I have never been on a panel. Also, I have never moderated a panel, but I'm doing that, too. That should be a hilarious time.

Also, I would like to take this moment to promote WisSched, the WisCon scheduling app. It sometimes hiccups on my iPhone, but otherwise it's great and provides an easier-to-take-in version of the panels, workshops, etc.

Yay! I hope we get to meet you. I can say pretty confidently that these names will be on our badges. The sticker is a great idea, but I don't think we have time. On the wishlist for future cons! (We'll all three be at Worldcon, too.)
