This gorgeous, atmospheric video brings to life Vince’s previous Zelda Ghibli posters. While it obviously references Ocarina of Time most of all, it gives me this retro A Link to the Past vibe that I love.

It’s so rare for people to point out the ways in which Leia is so much like her father (apparently, people get sidetracked by the fact that Star Wars’ female protagonists are all tiny white brunettes who could destroy you with a withering glance) and even rarer for people to point out how Kylo is like his mother. So this photo manipulation linking Anakin, Leia, and Kylo to a ferocious quote that’s true of all of them—all so fervent in their belief, in the fact that they are right. I love those Skywalker family parallels.

(It’s just that Leia is the only one who is actually always right.)

This might be the most adorable story I've ever read. Percy and Trinket have an important conversation in the Feywild, as seen from Trinket's POV. Yes, Vex's companion bear. It is sweet and absolutely in character and perfect. Spoilers through ep 61 or 62.

I promised myself not to go TOO overboard with reccing artworks of [episode 72 spoiler], but I had to share at least ONE. So I picked this one, which might, in my opinion, best capture the spirit of the moment.

I've been sorting through fics I bookmarked years ago to read later and never made time for. I found this one and planned to just skim the beginning to see if I was interested in saving it, but ended up sucking the whole thing down at once because it was so lovely. It's about leaving one place for another to find yourself, discovering the person you can be after huge tragedy, and coming to terms with letting go of the person you were. It's so lovely and just what I needed.

I promised I would re-rec this when it finished and I keep my promises. This adorable flower shop AU with Steve as a RESPONSIBLE FLOWER BUSINESSMAN and Tony as the head of Stark Industries doing development work is adorable. They meet and make eyes at each other and the Young Avengers are the kindest, smartest, most cleverest kids/friends/employees around and everything's done in epistolary format. I dunno but it's possibly the cutest thing I've read all year? Probably? IT'S REALLY CUTE IS WHAT I'M SAYING and now it's done so those who don't follow WIPs can read it! :D

I really like this art of Wrex, because the colours are excellent and his expression is completely in character.

[FIC] [Star Trek: Beyond] Find It and Keep It by shinyjenni (1,923 words) (Ensemble, Jaylah-centric)
The crew of the Enterprise buy Jaylah going away presents and I cannot deal with how sweet this is or how well thought out the gifts are. Jaylah's voice and character seems right to me and I would gladly read more of Jaylah finding a family.

[FIC] [Kingsman] Of Sterner Stuff by schweinsty (6,391 words) (Roxy Morton, Egsy Unwin, Merlin)
I felt like Roxy needed a bigger part in Kingsman, because she was so great and didn't get to do as much as she deserved, so finding fic about what she's doing during the film makes me happy? Especially as this is a really nice take on her during the events of the film! And it has Roxy being beautifully competent and dealing with sexist dickheads and best friends with Eggsy and not taking anyone's shit, I approve.
