I love the colours in this; they're so warm and appropriate and I love the expressions and basically yes, this ship. This ship. And then Allegra Clark wades in with glee and puns and it's the best icing on a grand cake made of adventures and copious makeouts.

I love me some Garrus/Shepard! This is a great lady Shepard, all scars and muscles, and I love the way Garrus is holding her.

This is a great set of quiet little portraits of the crew. I love these captured moments. The detail in the faces is kind of amazing.

It's a Samus who uses sign language! I love this idea, and the idea of these two awesome armoured ladies having a chat!

This is fanwork, right? Recreating paintings in a different medium? Either way, it's very cool and super lovely and Misty Copeland rocks, so come look at these photos!

[ART] [Star Wars: The Force Awakens] Regency AU: Rey, Finn and Poe, Kylo Ren, Phasma, Hux by therealmcgee (Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren, Phasma, Hux)
I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but I have a not-so-secret weakness for Regency AUs. They're like catnip to me, and I could not begin to tell you why. So these? These are glorious to me. They're all good, but I adore Phasma's one most — the armour, and the texture of that cloak and her gloves, and the details of weapons, and just the way she's looking at the viewer makes me happy. The Finn and Poe one has the most personality, I think? And the Kylo Ren one has most details? And the basket on Rey's lightsabre is the sort of tiny detail that makes me happy? But I am still so in love with the Phasma one.

(Can I take a second to just flail over the textures in these? The fabric looks so good and recognisably different materials? Also that cat looks fuzzy enough to stroke. >_> )

I love the costume so much, especially the swirls and the feet. Plus I like that they took the time to add in the omnitool, because I feel like that really adds to it!

[FIC] [Superman] Empty Graves by unpretty (6539 words) (Martha Kent, Jonathan Kent, assorted time travellers)
This is not my fandom, but this fic is excellent, from Martha's practicality and ruthlessness to the way it handles the time travel (it took me a couple of sections to realise what was going on, and then I gasped out loud) to that last scene. Without spoiling anything, I think I woke my housemate up with how hard I was laughing at Martha talking to her last few visitors, because it is the interactions I dream of finding in the comics.
