I really like space.
I have an entire folder that my computer uses to pull wallpaper ever minute and it's filled with nothing but space pictures, mostly from APOD, but also a lot of space art/artistic renderings. Here are our heroes against set against the ~infinite beauty~ of space, which I am really awed by! I love this.
(They would totally carry Groot around in his pot so he didn't feel left out.)

Blue Lily, Lily Blue came out recently. I haven't read it yet because I started it, got terrified of it ending and backed out like a coward. I'm considering a full on reread of the series to prepare myself emotionally.
(Is there ever a way to prepare yourself emotionally for a Stiefvater book? Signs point to no. BUT I CAN LIVE WITH THE LIE FOR NOW.)
I never thought I would love Ronan this much. Auuugh, the wheel, the hint of his tattoo, the wing. This is perfect.

findthesea (3:55)Jodie, this is relevant to your interests! In fact, I feel like you led me to this somehow. It was either you, or someone out there who been feeding us awesome vids featuring women. I'm very grateful, because this is a wonderful vid! Of course, I'm partial to Natasha and Peggy, but all of the characters get fantastic moments in this vid. I'm 150% biased in favor of all the different ways these people get to be strong and powerful; it's not just about hitting hard or being physically tough, but being clever and resourceful, too. Although true facts: the moment around 1:50 is pretty damn good for me. :D

A very cool 'costume change' image that flicks through a whole range of Mindy's styles. I especially like the 'Shopping is my cardio' shirt, the pink suit with tie, and that the artists included an image of Mindy wearing her scrubs and glasses.

A really cute image of grown up Harry & Ginny meeting a Muggle girl around Halloween. I think Ginny is my favourite thing about this sketch with her surprised face and her freckles and her adorkably drooping hat.
