I think Guys Lit Wire for one is a pretty good solution (especially since they expanded their criteria of books boys would enjoy and explicitly said boys would be interested in reading books with heroines). But yes in general I'm at a loss too, like I can see what is wrong but how to fix it - no clue. People need to understand how harmful gender models are to boys, before keeping boys from doing traditional female associated stuff can become a lawsuit issue and it's really hard to make people understand that because (like I said way back in the mists of time) being a traditional boy looks like it gives you all the advantages (and in many ways it does actually give you lots of advantages). So how to explain that? And how to make people care that forcing boys into traditional gender boxes can be harmful to women? No idea. I really am all about the spelling out of the theory.
