Oh, no, I read your comment! I found it perfectly agreeable and thought you made some great points. Honestly, so many people have given me awesome food for thought and more historical context about SF fandom and the intersection of it with other communities that all the excellent feedback is merging together. /o\ I'm probably not going to be able to respond to it all individually, but I'm really happy that there's finally starting to be some so I can compare it to what I wrote and improve my position.

I remember when there was no Twitter phase and miss it very much sometimes! Although I'm guilty of the same thing a lot of other people have done on Twitter by not waiting for blog posts before reacting about other issues, I sure won't be doing that again. This was a good learning experience on re: writing AND social media.
