You could burn them, knowing that would drive those guys beyond apoplectic if they knew. Not the sacred word of the man! No need to tell anyone, of course, unless you want to poke the bears. But as someone who has done that new year ritual of writing things that you want to leave in the old year onto a bit of paper and burning them, it might be a nice ritual for your own satisfaction.
