1. This map of pre 1906 Chinese temples in San Francisco is pretty awesome! As well as the map there’s photos and a little info about some of the temples!
2. Friend of the blog Jenny has a new collum out at Reactor about romantasy and as always she has super smart things to say.

3. It feels weird to say "I'm a member of nerdfighteria" in 2025, but today I'm claiming it because one of the things I've been helping with is the effort to fund the Maternal Center for Excellence. A few days ago, we got the word that the center would complete construction in October and open in January. That's pretty great news given everything else in the world. In one small part of it, more moms and babies will live.
4. My Sidetracks contributions may be light for a while as I transition some content over to Intergalactic Mixtape. I just dropped the second issue. It's been fun so far, but I'll need to find a balance, plus I don't want to repeat things too often. :D
5. Immediately breaking my rule of "don't repeat stuff across platforms" to share this excerpt from The Witch Roads by Kate Elliott, which will be out in June. I want everyone to try it!! I think it might be my new favorite from her. Need to reread Cold Magic and then The Witch Roads again to be sure (what a hardship).
6. I've been getting back into comedy very slowly, but I ended up mainlining a ton of Josh Johnson's stuff on a rec from a friend. It's like if a comedy club was also a history/philosophy bar.
