I'm not a big zombie fan, nor a big SciFi reader these days, but this trilogy grabbed me and I simply could not stop reading it- I finished Deadline in 6 hours, for cryin' out loud.

Lois the cat dying senselessly- and the description of how she died tore me up and still does, because I've lost pets in a completely senseless way before (house fire). I don't think my husband has forgiven Grant for that one yet. And George's death- that made me want to throw the book across the room.

Wait until you read Blackout. Quite a few questions raised in both Feed and Deadline are answered, in roundabout ways at times, in Blackout.

As an aside- if you haven't, read her October Daye series. I'm sure you know that Mira Grant is the pseudonym for Seanan McGuire, she doesn't hide it, after all.}:) I'd love to read your thoughts about Toby.}:)
