I recently finished rewatching Nirvana In Fire with a group of friends, which prompted a flurry of sharing fanworks recs. Here are a couple of highlights.
[ART] [Nirvana In Fire] Nirvana in Fire (琅琊榜) Mei Changsu and his Jiang Zuo Alliance by
This picture is adorable and the expressions on everyone’s expressions are on point!
[VID] [Nirvana In Fire] The Mountain by
I love how this captures Mei Changsu’s single minded focus!
[VID] [Nirvana In Fire] Secret by
Nirvana In Fire is a show full of people keeping secrets so this song is perfect! I also like how much focus there is on the female characters here.
Susan
[ART] [Spy x Family] Thorn princess by
I am so, SO behind on Spy x Family, but I need you all to look at how absolutely gorgeous this art is. The details give you exactly what you need to know about what happened before, and the combo of art style and pose have just taken me out.
[ART] [One Piece] pirate hunter by
This is the most cryptid version of Zoro I have ever seen and it's absolutely perfect.
[FIC] [Jennifer's Body] Right Where You Left Me by
What I desperately wanted from the Jennifer's Body fandom was an exploration of queerness and affection and Jennifer and Needy's mutual obsession, and look! Here it is, exactly what I wanted! Character studies of Chip, Needy, and Jennifer, and they're delicious. I'm especially here for the way the writer's picked up the transformation theme from the movie and run with it, so I really hope there's more.
