I would also want to see honest discussions about anger - because I think that anger being unproductive is a myth and anger can be useful and anger can get things done. In my case at least angers gives me a lot of focus and a lot of drive. This last Christmas I had a conversation with my mother and stepfather about how I am more critical of films/books/tv these days than I used to and I prompted them to see the sexism/racism/discrimination in some of the stuff we both consume (I think it was Modern Family what started our argument) and my stepdad said that I was a lot angrier at things now and if I kept this up I would not be able to enjoy things. And I thought about it for a long time and the conclusion I reached was this: well, that's bullshit, because this new awareness, this anger, makes me love the things I love a lot more, because I know what it takes for a work of art to not make me angry, and I can love problematic pieces meeting them head on instead of ignoring their problems. Plus being angry and being critical is how I enjoy things. I don't think it's been said enough about being critical as part of our enjoyement of culture. That's how I process things, the things I like and the things I don't. So when often people say "you just can enjoy anything!" to me I go "no, actually, I do enjoy a lot of things, not just in the way you enjoy things". And that's part of my new relationship with anger; I get angry at things a lot these days, but it doesn't make me an angry person (I am not), and it doesn't make me a more unhappy person, actually it makes me feel less helpless and sometimes it just feels good to shout "bullshit!" when you encounter bullshit.

So long story short: yes to political anger, and I'll be glad to be seeing anti-capitalist links.
