Yay the TED talk about introverts was just wwhat I needed this week. It's much easier to make that jump to being sociable at times, when you're an introvert, if you find that people understand and value your interest in wokring alone at other times. And it's just so much easier to exist generally that way too, without being forced to constantly evaluate your own introvert nature through the negative frame of other people's expectations. It's stressful to be constantly thinking 'Am I talking too little?'

I'm going to keep trying to remember all the feminist recommendation links for when I need suggestions. I love that the Tiptree has been going for so long and has longlist, or honours lists for each year.

Films: 'The Brave'! Why isn't it here yet? I can't wait. It just looks so cool.

I am kind of nervous about 'The Book Theif' announcement but Fellowes isn't working on it with him as far as I know, so it'll be interesting to see what his own style is like. In my imagination that film is animated, but uses the old style animation techniques and has a cool, individual art style, so nothing live action is ever going to be quite what I ideally want. It could still be great though.
