And this is why I don't think the solution of adding more female reviewers is really a good solution to this particular problem. The women will continue to be omnivores reading books that, to the extent they are female written books, are not noticed by men.

Adding more female reviewers is good for other reasons though.

Cheryl Morgan posted something this morning about school literature curricula essentially training us to look for books by and about men. Until that's fixed any solution on the blogger end may just be nibbling at the edges of the problem.
