I just reread AMY UNBOUNDED: BELONDWEG BLOSSOMING by Rachel Hartman and fell in love with it all over again. Not only is it a female-authored/drawn comic with a female protagonist, but it's intimately concerned with how women harness their power in a male-dominated world. I love it so much that I want everyone and their dog to read it, but alas, it's out of print. :(
