1. I appreciated Jim Hines's post about how Hugo and Nebula promotion works, in particular his list of ways to differentiate a recommended reading list from a true slate.

2. Peggy Carter action figure Peggy Carter action figure!!!!

3. Good video on #OscarsSoWhite and Halle Berry's legacy as the first (and so far only) black woman to win the Best Actress Oscar.

4. "The Blaming of the Shrew" discusses the role of women in television dramas starring male antiheroes. Although there's nothing really new here, I thought it was a great overview of the subject and look forward to other articles in this series on TV shows about difficult people.

5. Alex Acks has thoughts on the excellence and feminism of Captain Marvel

6. Here's a review of The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi, which I've been hearing a lot about!

7. Via [personal profile] umadoshi, there's a Black Widow film potentially on the horizon? Three years ago this news would have been fire, but I barely heard a peep about it until I saw this article. I'm chalking that up to SJ making some pretty bad decisions about film choices. It's a pity...although given the nature of Hollywood, I will still go see it because these days if an SFF film has a woman in it I'm there opening night because money talks. SHRUG EMOJI

8. Nagata Kabi's My Solo Exchange Diary Volume 2 is out and I completely missed it!

9. If you've also been looking for a summary of the discussion of racism in the Instagram knitting fandom, this one seems pretty comprehensive!

10. Serial Box are doing Marvel stories! Including Thor, Jessica Jones, Black Panther, and Black Widow! I am torn between "burned out on Marvel" and "very excited about Marvel doing something new and interesting!"

KJ, do I even want to know the price point for the Peggy Carter action figure? What size is Legends scale?

Thanks, All, for your various posts this and every time.

What's with your subtitle?

It's a riff off an extremely obscure meme only Tom Hardy and Myspace fans will appreciate.
