1. Classical Millenials is pretty funny.

2. The 2019 Women's Prize judging panel has been announced and I am really happy to see that this year there will be multiple chromatic women on the panel. Also, Kate Williams is chairing and I lurve her, so yay!

3. People who can turn coffee cups into amazing art are wizards.

4. Does everyone know Dream Daddy is now a comic? Seems like this would be relevant to a lot of people's interests.

5. Please enjoy this video of a french bulldog playing with a balloon.

6. In response to concerns raised about next year's World Fantasy Convention having an all-white Guest of Honor slate, WFC claimed that they only invite GoHs with "decades" of experience in the field. Jim Hines crunches the numbers and paints rather a different picture.

7. Here's a news story that combines two interests I never expected to see combined: copyright and cheese. EU court rules that a Dutch cheesemaker can't copyright its cheese's flavor.

8. YA author Destiny Soria talks about channeling her anger into her writing.

9. Two Canadian librarians
make the case against Little Free Libraries. Although I don't entirely agree with all they say, it's worth thinking about the classist implications of branding and selling what is essentially a glorified "take a book, leave a book" box, and also whether you can really call such a thing a library. Is a library a place with books, or is it a place with librarians? Interesting questions.

10. Please read this great profile of N.K. Jemisin! N.K. Jemisin Is Trying to Keep the World From Ending

11. Yoon Ha Lee is releasing a short story collection set in the same universe as Ninefox Gambit and I am HYPED. The link has the contents pageā€”it looks like it's a mix of new and older stuff, which is hopefully going to give me the kick I need to finish Revenant Gun!

12. I love the idea of knitting a scarf that corresponds to the books you're reading and I'm probably going to do that for 2019.

13. Ellen Klages put together a slideshow of reference images for her novella, Passing Strange! I love seeing authors showing their work like this, so I thought it was really interesting!

What's with your subtitle?

It's a riff off an extremely obscure meme only Tom Hardy and Myspace fans will appreciate.
