Thanks for that Elizabeth Bear link, I totally agree with her that "some writers (and some readers) have spent a lot of time internalizing our societal narrative that women… just aren’t interesting." and I know that I've probably internalised some of that too. So it is great to see it highlighted there.

I've also just started reading my first ever Elizabeth Bear book, so good timing :)
