Date: 2016-09-28 08:13 pm (UTC)Anyways I have been reading this series since the first book came out and I can't be very objective about it. But I can see the issues you mention here and see why they might be problems. I think the thrid book does better at getting into characters heads by introducing a new naïve character as the view point. It's my favourite of the series so far.
