I can see the homophobia, given that the one same-sex relationship I recall in the True Game books is between an adult and a young teenager and portrayed in a thoroughly negative light, but re eugenics, any chance you can elaborate? I've been trying to remember what could be considered as a positive portrayal of eugenics and coming up empty. I searched just now and found a few people mentioning the midwives thing (where midwives were supposed to kill babies that don't have souls), but I guess I'd always interpreted that as a not-at-all-good thing, part of the world's overall creepiness and the humans' twisting of talents toward their own selfish goals. The various breeding programs on the part of game players and the bad guys of the first trilogy also seemed to be shown in a very negative light. Is there something else I'm missing or have forgotten?

What's with your subtitle?

It's a riff off an extremely obscure meme only Tom Hardy and Myspace fans will appreciate.
