I haven't read any of these, and I've always meant to read some Emma Bull, so I guess Falcon might be as good a place to start as any...
And Alamut sounds really intriguing.

I've read a few books by Sherri Tepper, and I love certain aspects of her stories but I think that, in the ones I've read, she can get a bit *message*
