I'd be happy to see more thoughts on this issue and how to improve the situation to make it easier for new people to dive in without feeling overwhelmed (reviews are just one idea -- there are probably others I'm overlooking).

I know SF Signal announces TOC for some magazines, but I don't know if they cover everywhere, and they post so much other content I often miss them and never get time to go back, and don't tag the announcements in such a way that I could just follow the RSS for the tag. And then there are places that don't release issues, but only single stories at a time (Book Smugglers, Tor.com). If there was SF short fiction hub where new issues, stories, etc. could be announced, with a tagging system so things could be sorted (by location, author, editor, etc.), which could also link to reviews of short fiction once a week, that would be so cool. I'm thinking of the fandom newsletters on Livejournal, and how they created a centralized place for finding fic/meta before AO3. Yet another entry in ideas I'd love to implement but have no time for. *\o/*

What's with your subtitle?

It's a riff off an extremely obscure meme only Tom Hardy and Myspace fans will appreciate.
