You'll be hearing about her a lot in the next few weeks — her blog tour is epic, and I'm really excited for it because she creates such diverse content for her tours. I didn't request review copy of The Mirror Empire (I was too afraid of getting rejected, since their Strange Chemistry imprinted rejected me p. often), but from what I've heard it seems like God's War might be more immediately accessible? But I say that with huge disclaimers!
