Renay, I have to say thank you, thank you so much for talking about the Hugos and about SFF and books and reading with so much passion and honesty and vulnerability. You put yourself out there and you inspired me to buy a membership, read the work and vote, and you have given me back SFF. You have given it back.

(To put this in perspective I stopped engaging with non-fan SFF writing almost half my lifetime ago, in the 90s. If I had to put a date on it: the publication of David Brin's Hugo-nominated door stop, Brightness Reef.)
