Well, on the plus side, The Thief is pretty short. I read it in two days. But on the other hand, you could just as easily read a synopsis, then hit the high points of the book, then try the books after it.

I do plan to read Parasite! I had hoped to get to it this year, but alas, holidays in retail. I'm afraid most of what I've seen about it is the criticism about how it's nothing but repetition, same characters, same premise, etc. as Feed. But that's actually okay with me. As someone who will quite happily read every fake boyfriend AU in her fandoms, twice, I am down with similarities. :D
