I love Blue because exactly because she's a bit too sensible! It just endeared me too her even more; she thinks she's so practical. :D I hope she grows out of it a little as the story progresses and she continues to make her own decisions. Live on the edge, kid! :)
My biggest complaint is that we didn't get more of the women in her life. That's probably greedy, but I loved them all so much and wanted more of their family, since they're all very clearly integral to Blue's development. I thought their presence in Blue's life (grounding her; providing some security) was a nice contrast to the wildness Gansey and Adam folded her into. Maybe in the sequel, if it's still an ensemble cast.
Also, I never even thought of that connection re Glendower, but now it makes perfect sense. Wow, I'm dense.
