I love the nominating process much more than voting, too! But I suspect that's because of the sheer potential of sharing things I love with few restrictions? Voting is more work, and also I had to learn to let go of my disappointment about things I REALLY wanted on the ballot that didn't make it and just look at the things that were. I can always promote those things that DIDN'T make it myself! I've been repeating that to myself that some focused hand-selling (I do a lot to my friends as well as my librarian, sorry librarian) is just as important as an award. :D

Erratic voting is just as valid as any type of voting! This is why I wish more people would talk about their choices. It clarifies how people make it work.
