KJ

June was a bit of a rough month for me personally, so I didn't write a whole lot. But I did appear on a special episode of Fangirl Happy Hour to talk about Captain America: Civil War, and I wrote a brief note about League of Dragons, the last book in the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik (note, review contains spoilers).

Renay

Ah, June. It's the month that goes by the fastest for me.

Ana and I posted several episodes of Fangirl Happy Hour!

I reviewed Ninefox Gambit for Barnes & Noble's SFF blog.

I wrote a guest review of Black Wolves for The Book Smugglers, using their large platform for my nefarious reccing ends. >D

Susan

SOMEHOW [personal profile] renay suckered me into writing pairing fic for her with actual, like, onscreen displays of affection and everything!... Guys, I write genfic where any hint of a pairing is blink-and-you-miss-it, between this and the pairing fic I didn't finish, my writing comfort zone was a tiny dot on the horizon in June.

  • I Wanna Wear You Like A Suit — Pulling pigtails was old when Steve was a kid. (Avengers Academy, Steve/Tony, 946 words)

  • As I Fall I Feel — Nothing makes you appreciate a beautiful evening like destroying Hydra. (Avengers Academy, 480 words)

What's with your subtitle?

It's a riff off an extremely obscure meme only Tom Hardy and Myspace fans will appreciate.
